Released in 1993, this older bottling of Glenmorangie 10 Year Old was produced in the distillery’s sesquicentennial celebrating 150 years of distilling at the ‘Highland Cathedral’ as it’s known. Bottled at 40% abv, it is presented with an old fashioned gift tin and the rear label notes the special occasion with an illustration by Mashman George Mackenzie.

One of three releases in The Balvenie Stories range, this is a peaty 14 year old single malt Scotch whisky, inspired by distillery manager Ian Millar installing a peat burner at Balvenie. For one week each year, the distillery created peated whisky using Speyside peat, resulting in expressions that introduce fragrant smoke notes to the classic Balvenie flavour profile.
Nose: Gentle sweet peat smoke, lighter floral notes and delicate butterscotch honey.Palate: Velvety and round to taste with the peat smoke balancing citrus flavours, oaky vanilla and blossom honey.
Finish: Gentle smoke with a lingering and creamy vanilla sweetness.

Single malt from Ballantine’s? Yep, you heard right! Miltonduff is said to be the foundation of the Ballantine’s blend, and has now been given its own spotlight. This one was matured for 15 years in American oak casks until it was bottled by Ballantine’s.
Nose: Floral notes, peach, creamy sweets, Vanilla and toasted coconut, oak spice, dried fruit.
Palate: Smooth and well rounded, peach, orange, liquorice, creamy melted milk chocolate, buttery pastry
Finish: Long and warming, with a touch of mint, honey and allspice.
