A now long delisted single malt from a distillery that was silent up until 2015 but with no official bottles available as most of the output going for blending needs this 10 year old from the 1990’s remains the only way of trying this forgotten Speyside.

Nose: Rustic oatmeal, touches of smoke, stewed fruits (rhubarb & apple) malty ginger, waxy orange rind. Palate: Spicy fruitcake, waxy citrus, hints of smoke and salty nuts, barley sugar and orange rind. Finish: Spicy and peppery oak, ginger, fruitcake, citrus, hint of salty smoke.

Very good old fashioned Speyside, very Strathisla esque.
