- N: a malt that does not hide its youth, but rather exhibits it proudly: and it is good !, because there is no the usual saccharine note of candied fruit, but deeper notes of fermented malt, of washback … Then, hazelnuts and almonds; blood orange; shades of red fruit, of wood. Wet barrel, and like ginger spice and a hair of pepper. Egg yolk. As proof of the already solid structure, water (although superfluous for alcoholic impact) opens and opens the most juicy and fruity side.
- P: very clean and pleasant, with a fresh but enveloping body, almost oily. The citrus is reaffirmed in the foreground, together – again – to the true protagonist, the malt: this however is more ‘vegetal’ here than on the nose, less from ‘distillery’: it has a very pleasant herbaceous sweetness. Sugary and dangerously drinkable. Herbal infusion; honey. The water does the same magic as the nose, opening on a caramel and still on the fruit.
